  • Small Business Support – Helped 2,900+ businesses through programs like Level Up and direct outreach

  • Higher Education Access – Opened the North Long Beach Higher Education Center with LBCC to expand workforce training

  • Major Housing Pipeline – Advanced student housing, affordable housing, and new homeownership opportunities

DEFOREST PARK 

  • Park Upgrades & Amenities – Added mini soccer pitches, pickleball courts, and secured funding for a permanent restroom

  • 84 New Townhomes – Delivered new housing with major sidewalk, landscaping, and traffic improvements

  • Wetlands Investment ($250K) – Installed watershed trash capture and led ongoing cleanup efforts
